1. The state of Maryland prohibits gambling and/or wagering through any kind of poker or table game in a public establishment. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO GAMBLING AND/OR WAGERING OF ANY KIND DURING ARPL'S EVENTS, TOURNAMENTS AND REGIONALS. If someone is found breaking this law they will be banned from ARPL indefinitely and removed from the establishment.

2. Eligibility: All players must be 21 years of age to participate in our games. In the case of a day event in a restaurant, 18 years of age is allowed under the establishments ruling, laws and/or guidelines.

3. All poker games are played under Roberts Rules of Poker found here: www.homepokertourney.com/rules_roberts.htm

4. Players should register anytime during the half hour before the tournament starts. Late players will have to post their missed blinds. ARPL allows a 1 hour or less late entry after the start of the tournament. If there are not enough seats for the players, ARPL will have a wait list that will last 2 hours and no missed blinds.

5. This is a self dealt league, meaning the players will pass the Dealer Button and deal the cards themselves. Any player at the table may volunteer duties of all time dealer for an extra 15 ARPL points. These points will be added to the normal amount given for your finished position. If more then one player offers to volunteer, high card will be drawn out of the deck to determine the dealer. The all time dealer must deal until his/her table breaks down regardless of being eliminated from the tournament.

6. Players must act in a civilized manner. Profanity and verbal/physical abuse is prohibited. Anyone found breaking this rule will be asked to forfeit his or her chips and to be excused from the game. Please be courteous to new players who are unfamiliar with the rules of Texas Hold'em. If someone is unfamiliar with pokers etiquette and rules, please familiarize them in a civilized manner.

7. To prevent confusion please verbalize your "bets", "raises", "re-raises" and "calls".
